“Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack in everything
That’s how the light gets in.”
Leonard Cohen
I work in an eclectic, multi-dimensional, creative way that is grounded in experience, practice, theory and open-mindedness. When a person comes to therapy, he or she needs to feel that the process they are beginning with me is sacred. I believe in creating a nonjudgmental environment that is safe emotionally, physically and psychologically.
My training is based in interpersonal and self-psychology, psychoanalytic psychotherapy as well as mindfulness-based positive psychology. My knowledge of meditation, yoga and dance enables me to understand the complex nature of the mind/body connection as it relates to overall healing. Drawing on this knowledge and my psychotheraputic modalities, I tailor and personalize my work to the needs of the individual client.
